ABOUT PRODIGY

The word ‘Prodigy’ means ‘a young person endowed with exceptional abilities.’ Prodigy Ventures is a network of social enterprises offering apprenticeship programs for low-income young adults who are not finding success in traditional work or school structures. 

 

The first enterprise, Prodigy Coffeehouse, offers year-long apprenticeships to low-income & disconnected young adults from Northeast Denver. Through craftsmanship apprentices develop mindsets and skills for sustainable careers, social mobility, and most importantly, to go forth and enrich their city.
