group experiences

Find Your Best Self events are designed to locate a new part of yourself- a best self- that was always there and that comes to life when you are far beyond your comfort zone. Groups are organized to tackle specific topics common to the team.

Designed for those who are healing and providing healing in the wake of relational injuries.

A Find Your Best Self group includes:

Body-centered therapy

Indoor and outdoor experiential healing as a team

Guest speakers

Group meditation

Undoing aloneness

It takes time to find the gear where your Best Self rides. We help you integrate physical, mental, and emotional commitment to reach this new level.

These groups are not psychotherapy but provide healing and transformation outside of the counseling office.

Find Your Best Self:   2019 Men's Group

At this time we offer two groups: one for women who are injured and one for men who need to rebuild trust in the wake of causing trauma to their partner.

The men's group includes a physically challenging component designed to bring you to your limit regardless of your fitness level.

The women's group includes outdoor experiences--not physical challenges.

  • Believe that your Best-Self is resilient and can be released to live a more fulfilling, safe, and less painful life

  • Anything else your coaches require of you

ALL GROUP MEMBERS COMMIT TO:

I think embracing the suck helps me fight my addiction. When I get deep in my addict mind, I feel like I can't exercise self-control.

Embracing the suck is the first time I'm really saying, "No, I CAN do this."
